Some 1 minute warm up sketches, lots of sloppy lines, but gotta get that wrist and the mind warmed up first.
More pencils and inks, trying to capture the poses and shapes a bit more in this session, though I really feel I can quietly push my poses even Further and simplify the shapes.
Long face, another great model with a fun body shape to draw and some great poses too.
For synthesis load two I tried to draw the model without and pencil lines underneath and I'm quite happy with the result, it's always scary for me though, I'll try to keep this up as it'll be good eye workout . I do not meassure the model with my thumb or pencils anymore as I find it's too much of a crutch, instead I want to train my eye to judge distances better for itself. I still have a long way to go before I can get things in proportion Properly, but synthesis life drawing sessions are a good little workout so I do not get too artistically "flabby".
So Etienne and I got our capoeira nicknames last lesson. I am apparently Pardal, which means Sparrow and Etienne is Bambu, Bamboo. Not the most impressive nicknames haha, but they help in something creative so can´t be all that bad.
